Sunday, 26th April 2009 was a historic day, at least for Empower Health and IIHMR-Delhi. It marked the inaugural of their first ‘Combined Advanced Diploma Course in Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance’.
In early 2009, at the initiative of Empower, the two entities had established an institute to build human capacity in the fields of clinical research and pharamcovigilance, the fastest growing areas in the health and pharmaceutical industry.
The inaugural was attended by several domain and industry experts among whom were Sten Olsson, Chief WHO Program Officer, Uppsala Monitoring Centre-Sweden, Dr V.K Singh, Director, IIHMR-Delhi, Rajiv Sharma, Managing Director, Empower, Dr S Mubarak Naqvi, Vice President, CliniRx Research, Prof. Dr. S.K.
