I must however confess, the task has been challenging--we had to contend with seemingly conflicting interests, knowing that at the end we must find the right balance between theory and practice; global exposure and local experience; between ‘spoon-feeding’ content and allowing students to actively participate in the knowledge discovery process; and between academia and real world experience.
I am glad the special group of distinguished educators and domain experts succeeded in finding the correct balance.
Our faculty and industry experts consist of a set of remarkable people, who are close both to theory and practice, will ensure that students acquire skills, tools and knowledge in their areas of specialization.
